The RemotePro® PL-SM-L series (RPPL) outdoor power systems from Tycon Power® are meticulously designed for applications that require a primary off-grid or backup power source to run various electronics. These robust systems feature sealed and weatherproof 11x7x6” polycarbonate enclosures capable of securely holding up to two 12V 10AH batteries. The hinged and gasket-sealed design ensures that internal components remain safe and dry by keeping moisture out. Moreover, these enclosures can accept a padlock or tamper seal, providing peace of mind in remote or unattended locations.
Versatile Mounting Options
Flexible Installation: The enclosures can be easily mounted to a wall or pole using the included mounting bracket system. This flexibility allows for various installation options, catering to different site requirements and ensuring secure placement in diverse environments.
High-Quality Solar Panels: The high-quality solar panels, which come with a 25-year power output guarantee, can be mounted to poles with diameters ranging from 51mm to 101mm (2″ to 4″) or alternatively to a wall using the included bracket kit. This setup ensures optimal sunlight exposure, maximizing the efficiency of the solar panels and providing reliable energy.
Advanced Battery Protection
Battery Charge Controllers with LVD Load Control: The systems include advanced battery charge controllers with LVD load control, preventing overcharging or over-discharging of the batteries. Some of the RPPL-SM-L systems feature a controller with a built-in PoE inserter and DC-DC converter, supplying 24V or 48V PoE from the 12V or 24V battery system. Other models use a 20A PWM controller with a parametric LCD display for easy monitoring and control. These controllers significantly extend battery life and ensure reliable performance over time.
Flexible and Safe Operation
Multiple Ports for Cabling Needs: The enclosures feature multiple ports for CAT5/6 cables, antenna cables/connectors, or other cabling. This design ensures flexibility for various wiring needs and allows the systems to accommodate different setups and configurations.

LFP (LiFePO4) Lithium Batteries: The RPPL-SM-L systems use LFP (LiFePO4) Lithium batteries, which offer superb 80% deep discharge and 4000+ cycle life performance.
